Luis Mota

I’ve been a firefighter for 15 years, 7 of those professionally at Hillsboro Fire & Rescue. I started CrossFit in 2012 when my work started a Peer Fitness Trainer Program sponsored by the International Association of Fire Fighters after data showed many line of duty deaths were caused by poor health and lack of physical fitness. I decided to become a certified trainer in 2014 to help others achieve not only a healthier lifestyle but also an tougher state of mind. Helping others achieve something they thought impossible is something I’ve found very rewarding. I can honestly say I came for the CrossFit but stayed for the community.
