Kids are spending more time indoors than ever before. Because of this they are less likely to acquire the proper motor recruitment skills necessary throughout adolescence development thereby increasing the chances of injury later in sport and life. This program is designed to develop awareness through proper motor skills in various movements and to engrave the 10 physical domains of fitness: Cardio Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Accuracy.
What is FitKids
FitKids is a strength and conditioning program designed to get kids in shape in fun and dynamic ways. While participating in the program, athletes will spend roughly half their time engaging in fun, dynamic workouts, and the other half working on the skills necessary to develop proper form and technique. In just a few weeks athletes will see dramatic changes in strength, speed, power and recovery. They will start to understand how to utilize the body’s true potential and just how far they can safely push it. We are excited to offer such a life changing experience.
We don’t just run athletes through simple drills and conditioning, we teach them how to safely re-prioritize their body from core to extremity, thereby increasing overall performance while reducing risk of injury. We emphasize good movement through proper mechanics, consistency and intensity while engraving the 10 physical domains of fitness: Cardio Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Agility, Balance, Coordination and Accuracy. Elite level coaches provide proven methods to develop the core strength and conditioning needed for various sports and activities. Additionally, athletes will record their scores after being tested and strive to beat their scores throughout the training program. This provides a unique, fun, and challenging way to improve their skills and strength over time while seeing the results.
